LINDA DEWEY

The most successful businesses and individuals have a clear vision and consistently express it, along with their underlying values, through all the ways in which they communicate. 

My mission is to help foster that success.  Through coaching, training and writing, I shine a spotlight on the many ways my clients communicate and help them project their values,  image and brand.

Before starting my consulting practice, I was as a project manager and consultant, specialized in analytical and financial systems.  I worked for GE Information Systems and Manufacturer’s Hanover Trust Company.  It didn't take long for me to realize that the people were more interesting than the technology, and I realized that my strengths lie in the roles of trainer, writer and coach.

My early experience also includes facilitating team building and group dynamics sessions for non-for-profit and educational groups on a volunteer basis, following intensive training as a facilitator. And I was an instructor of Managerial Communications and an Academic Advisor at Central Connecticut State University.

I combined my experience in the corporate and volunteer spheres to build my current successful consulting practice, adding a coaching certificate from the Coaches Training Institute and becoming qualified to deliver and interpret the Myers Briggs Temperament Indicator.

I have an MBA in Management from New York University and a BA in Math and Secondary Education from Arcadia University. I am the current president of the Tucson chapter of the American Society for Training and Development.
